For over 20 years, ASC Barrels has been a witness to the positive evolution of the drink industry. With a unique goal of making custom-made barrels for our clients, we developed an expertise at helping distillers, brewers, and wine-makers on selecting the best barrels for what they wanted to produced – based on our clients’ story, terroir, and most importantly their vision.
Throughout the years, this will to push the industry out of its comfort zone with exceptional people – real artisans – led us the perfect our own signature product to fulfil unmet needs: the New Era Of Cask (NEOC). For this cask we reinvented the process of making barrels out of old barrels, giving a second life to these French oak barrels that have served well their wine chateaux. These upcycled barrels – as we call them – have made their mark in the industry by making of sustainability a vector of innovation and unique flavour.
The NEOC is a creamy and fruity cask that has been rejuvenated by our traditional coopers through meticulous hand-shaving and re-toasting. With full traçability from the tree to the glass, we aim to help age spirits with unmatched quality and character, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and excellence in the craft.

ASCEND x KYRÖ
Aged in upcycled French oak barrels, this whiskey showcases the expertise of our master coopers, whose craft has been refined over decades. Each barrel is carefully hand-shaved to reopen the grain of the wood and allow it to breathe and exchange with the whisky. The barrels are meticulously selected for their noble wood, having previously housed high-end wines and exceptional whiskies, ensuring only those with the finest qualities are chosen for this process, with full traceability from tree to glass.
The 90-minute open-flame toasting is a precise dance of fire and wood, releasing delicate aromas of vanilla, toasted nuts, and gentle spice. These flavors mingle with the warmth of oak, transporting you to a place of quiet refinement—like sitting by a crackling hearth returning to the chateau which matured the barrel itself. Every sip reveals the care and expertise behind the process, offering a rich, complex experience that lingers long after the glass is empty.
